March Coffee Morning

March 28, Myleen opened her beautiful home at White Meadows (Whitefield) to our Outpost members. It was our first coffee get together for the 2019 and much needed. The ladies got to share delectable food and entertaining conversations with many many giggles. It truly was a delightful morning that extended itself towards 1 pm.

Happy Healthy Me Workshop – 28 February 2019, Indiranagar

This event saw 12 enthusiastic members eagerly looking for answers to questions on women’s health. This event did not disappoint as we attended the talk by the co-founder of Happy Healthy Me, Ms Namu Kini. She addressed each and every member with their burning questions and did her best to provide support on healthy eating, better choices for the whole family, de-cluttering your kitchen, your diet and your gut with a focus on making better choices for your overall better health.

The members were enlightened, got to taste test a few products, shared many laughs and enjoyed a 10% discount on their healthy shopping purchases.

We concluded this event with a friendly, nutritious, wholesome lunch which also included a beetroot and ginger juice and a small plate of deserts which left many members thinking……HMMMM…Cheers to HEALTHY choices!

First 2019 Outpost Event: Malleshwaram Walk

Our first event for 2019 was a 3-and-a-half-hour Heritage walk in Malleshwaram on 24 Jan 2019. It was attended by a delightful bunch of outpost members and was exhibited by our very informative tour guide, Mr. Ali from Bengaluru by foot.

He managed to personalize the tour to our needs which made it unique compared to the usual temple only tour. We saw the Kadu Malleshwaram temple which is a Shiva temple.

Diagonally opposite to this we got to see the Sri Dakshina Nandi temple; the picturesque Dhobi Ghat (meaning washerman’s village), lactating donkeys who belong to the owners of Dhobi Ghat and I believe are a source of income for their curative powers rather than used as a mode of transport; a toy store named ‘Kavade’ which houses traditional Indian games and we ended our tour with a scrumptious vegetarian feast at a nearby restaurant called Halli Mane.

Have a look at the Photos Page for the coverage of this event.
